Christmas at the Viking is produced by artists Lark Roderigues and Ann McMahon. The annual event was inspired by a desire to have a seasonal show in the beautiful Aquidneck Island area and to continue the tradition of the well loved "Christmas in Newport" sponsored craft show at the Viking Hotel. It is a place where you may shop for beautiful gifts, and enjoy the ambience of the beautiful hotel and walk to any attraction in Newport. . You may also expect the unexpected. The participants in the show make all of the items for sale by hand and are well respected in their field. There is a range of prices but not of quality. The show takes place from November 24, Saturday, 10 to 5, rain. snow or shine, at the Viking Hotel, 1 Bellevue Ave. in Newport RI. Admission is free and there is parking available at the hotel and public parking.
